PEPP LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

PEPP, Inc. has made a profound impact in the disability community, over the past eleven years. We are a non-profit advocacy organization, dedicated to improving the rights of the individuals we serve.  PEPP works on both nation and state legislation to address the disability language defined in laws and regulations. Some of the most significant pieces of legislation PEPP has work on include, IDEA, NCLB, and now the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

The PEPP team is knowledgeable and has extensive experience working with parents and professionals. Well trained on all components of Special Education, each staff provides support on IEP’s, 504, and Student Support Team issues. PEPP also delivers parent-friendly seminars throughout the state and speaks nationally on a variety of disability topics.

With a combined thirty years of experience, PEPP staff truly understands the obstacles faced by individuals with disabilities. Each staff also has a unique cultural background and/or relationship to our population, by being an individual with a disability, parent or family member. Our staff maintains a consistent universal philosophy in advocating the empowerment and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

PEPP’s advocates are not attorneys nor are we a substitute for legal advice. Parents who retain our services need to understand we are not an educator or an attorney. PEPP will work with parents and school administration to develop an appropriate education for your child.
